Wonderful 19th century Zulu Knobkerrie club wire-bound

 A wonderful extremely old Zulu knobkerrie club. The age on this weapon is self evident, it is clearly a 19th century example and has been used and handled for a long time. The shaft is fully bound with woven patterned wire, used for higher status warriors, the wood and wire is untouched and displays a fantastic old patina that has to be handled to be appreciated, old wear and age cracking to the head, dont detract from the character of this old club, all is sound and solid. Hole on the bottom of the handle to take a wrist strap.
