Russian or Caucasian shaska sword with silver mounts

 A good Russian silver and gilt mounted Shaska sword. The hilt and mounts from gilt silver, embellished with niello, the grip with fine gril filigree work. The blade good steel with fullering and engraving near the forte. Leather scabbard covering. Good condition, the reverse of the silver chape with inlaid niello inscriptions.
