Rare Naga Double bladed Spear with hair adornment

Description

 An unusual and rare variation of the Naga War spear. The Konyak Naga tribe from NorthEast India, Assam/Burma border decorated many of their weapons with the red dyed hair seen on this spear, in reference to warfare and head taking. This weapon has hair fringed along its full length with a hanging tassel at the base. The two spear blades are forged from a single piece of steel. This example dates to the earlier part of the 20th century and is in good condition.
