Polish or Hungarian Bronze Mace

Description

An interesting Mace weapon probably Eastern European Polish, or Turkish Ottoman. The head probably dates to the 17th or 18th century and is made with complex bronze flanges, each edged and chiselled with the flange itself pierced through in designs. Some flanges are missing to one side probably 2 or 3 in number. The shaft of the mace is covered with brass decorated sleeves to the top and bottom which have probably been replaced in the 19th century.middle east
