Ottoman kard 18th century with Jade handle

A fine quality Ottoman kard 18th century. The blade of fine wootz steel, with gold calligraphy and decoration to both sides. The hilt a single piece of high quality dark green jade, surmounted by a gold framed green stone. The sheath with finely chiselled gilt-silver mounts, and central velvet section ( needing readhesion).
