Long bladed Abyssinian Spear or Lance circa 1880

A good 19th century Spear or Lance from Abyssinia. The head of good steel, fashioned into a long tapering blade with robust cross section. The shaft of thick cane, the end wound with steel as a counterweight to the blade and to provide good balance for the weapon.
