Indian Shamshir-bladed Tulwar

A good Deccan shamshir. Hilted in watered steel with gold decorative borders, the shaped quillons of this sword make for an unusually elegant example. The pommel with a wide disc and pierced to take a lanyard strap. The blade of thick curving steel showing some lamellar damascus patterning. Of Hyderbadi type.
