fine zulu knobkerrie club with inlaid studs or tacks

 A lovely Zulu Club from South Africa, Knobkerrie. This is a rare and fine example, the onoin shaped head is covered with brass tacks arranged in linear patterns, the whole with a lovely uncleaned age patina. The shaft and head carved from a single piece of wood and surviving from the 19th century in really good condition, a fine collectors piece.
