Fine Nepalese Kukri Knife with Royal Arms
A good Kukri knife from Nepal. Large example with silver mounts, the upper locket with the Royal Arms of Nepal highlighted with gold, the chape finely chiselled silver with an unusual dragon design again highlighted with gold. The leather sheath with a rear pocket containing a small knife with horn hilt and silver bolster. The Large kukri with a good thick steel blade, a solid horn grip and silver bolster. The blade with deep fullering at the blade back for greater strength and rigidity. Back edge of sheath with cut. A nice example.! Circa 1880. Indo Persia
