Bolas hunting weapon from Patagnia South America

A set of bolas from South America, Argentina or Patagonia. Fully formed of strong woven white hide, with three ‘limbs’ and three weighted balls, these were thrown while hunting to entangle the legs of the quarry. This example is not antique.
