Arab or North African double dagger ‘Haladie’

Arab or North African Double-dagger. A very interesting double dagger ‘Haladie’, the steel blade on opposing ends of a central grip, double edged and all sides etched with arabic calligraphy and decoration. The grip of padded fabric woven with metallic strips, likewise this dagger is complete with its leather sheaths again further embellished with a metallic woven design. 19th century  . Middle east
