Three fine and rare antique Burmese lances or spears. Very long original form nearly 9 ft long..! All three with silver mounts and filgree woven silver wire collars, robust steel heads, two with unusual single edged profiles similar to those sometimes found on Chinese polearms. The wooden shafts lacquered black, the butts with steel flattened shoes. One with a small inscription engraved into the silverwork near the butt. Wonderful items! Ex- Robin Wigington collection. Burma/Thailand, South-East Asia 18th or early 19th century.
