A large Ottoman Turkish Khanjar dagger

Description

 A very nice large Ottoman dagger Khanjar. The sheath and handle made of silver and fully gilt, the front of the sheath with a small loop for hanging from a belt, and stamped with the Sultans Tughra. This is repeatedly stamped inside the top of the dagger locket. The grip bound with silver wire. The blade very long, and double edged with a central reinforcement ridge, gold calligraphy remains at the forte. 18th century
