19th century Bhutanese knife or dirk with silverwork

A very attractive dirk or dagger from the Himalayan region Butan or Southern Tibet. The sheath and handle covered with silver pierced and engraved with symbolic motifs, brass grip and edging. The blade stout and double edged with sharp chamfered centre line, and inlays of brass set into the faces. 19th century.    far east
