Unusual Indian punch dagger katar with curved serrated blade

 An unusual attractive Indian Katar Punch-dagger. This example has a curved blade, with serrated thickened edges, and a thickened tip. The steel displays a crystalline wootz pattern. The hilt with twin guard which are decorated with silver decoration in panels, flowerheads, the bars with some piercing at the end. Good condition, some wear to silverwork. Very scarce form 33 cms long overall, 18th/19th century
