Military British Bamboo 1868 lance with leather strap and sleeve

A British lance of 1868 pattern, long bamboo shaft, regulation steel mounts blade and butt. The central strap and leaver sleeve are intact, the metalwork to the lance has a thick age patination which obscures any number or markings which might be present. This example probably dates to the period before and during WW1. Good condition.  european
