A large rare version of the kukri, usually older than the standard. Large hollow ground steel blade, with chamfered edge, and super thick spine, with short deep fullers at the top. The hilt of steel, with two large circular guards to the top and bottom of the grip. The pommel with a stepped deocrated finial typical of nepalese early weapons, kora and kukri. The forte with a cho notch finely shaped. 19th or 18th century. Complete with original black hide covered sheath. 58 cms long overall out of sheath, the blade 44 cms approximately
