Bavarian Austro-Hungarian Pattern Officers swords with Blue and Gilt blade

A nice quality European Officers sword sabre dating to the mid/late 18th century. This particular sword is from a Bavarian Officer, South Germany, althought the pattern is Austro-Hungarian and was used in several different versions around central Europe, with slight differences in design/furniture. The brass-gilt mounts feature a lions head to the pommel very nicely defined, original leather grip and wire binding. The blade of good steel in good condition, the upper half with surviving blued steel surface in areas, and engraved gilded motifs to each side and the back edge. Original leather scabbard in good condition with all mounts present.
