Singhalese decorated lacquer bow from Kandy

A nice and scarce Sinhalese bow from Sri Lanke – Ceylon in very good condition. Strong coloured lacquered designs in yellows, reds and blacks covering the entire bow, which is gently curved and shows attachment point of the strin at either end. Dating to the 18th or early 19th century. indo persian
