rare Thai Mak Axe chopper

 A rare chopper from Thailand/Cambodia known as a Mak. The bamboo haft is made from a single piece which has been deliberately grown with the curve to the top, the blade protrudes from the top with the forward facing blade sharpened. The included relief from Angkor Wat shows mounted military using similar weapons in the 12th century proving this axe has very ancient origins.
