Rare Indian steel shield with spike and hook

Very nice unusual Indian shield made of iron, decorated with various applied steel rosettes, straps and washers, brass rosettes and a central boss, the top with a stout spike, the bottom with a curved hook-like feature.  19th century.  indo persian
