Rare Indian Hinged plate Cuirass steel Body Armour 17th century

 An interesting piece of Indo-Persian armour. Char Aina type cuirass with seven steel plates, reinforced with scalloped steel applied borders. The plates attached to each other with small hinges which allow the cuirass to flex and fit snuggly to the body. The front plates with two buckles each for tying together, the top with small steel loops to originally allow for straps over the shoulders. An early piece.
