Rare good quality Persian Bident lance

A good quality Persian Watered steel Bident lance. The waved blades made from fine crystalline steel, inlaid at the base with crolling designs. the blade tips heavily thickened and reinforced, the blade edges still very sharp. The collar with a bulbous fitting, above a facetted shaft fitting finely chiselled with a large variety of motifs. Small hole to one side. 19th century Mounted on a wooden shaft with velvet grip and metallic tassels, maybe original but possibly later but 19th century in date.  60 cms overall steel blade and collar, 188 cms in total
