Rare Chinese or Korean Helmet with armoured fabric

 A very scarce antique Chinese or Korean Steel military Helmet. Dating to the 16th-18th century. The steel helmet with typical Chinese styling including a cupped top mount with plume holder, reinforced bands to the upper bowl, peaked visor and cutouts for the eyes. This helmet retains its original fabric attachments of blue hemp, reinforced internally and externally with steel plates, a most interesting and very rare survival.
