Qing Chinese Dao sword

a good Chinese  Qing dao sword. Good steel blade fullered in panels, dragons engraved on the blade fortes,  and with the back edge scalloped and shaped. The mounts of chiselled engraved bronze originally gilt, the handle wrapped with woven cord. The scabbard covered with polished rayskin/shagreen, with its original brass belt-hanger with moveable loop. Qing dynasty 19th century. 66 cms long overall
