Description

A good Plains Indian stone-headed club ‘I wata jinga ‘ . Heavy stone head with pointed ends applied with coloured pigments, the shaft covered with hide and decorated with bands of white beadwork, pigment, hide bands with brass tacks. An old label stuck to the grip area. Late 19th century, 28 inches approximately.
