Persian Qajar steel shield dhal with embossed faces and gold damascene

19th century steel shield dhal or sipar. Convex shape with reinforced brass edging. The whole front chiselled with scenes with figures and bands of calligraphy and floral borders, five large embossed faces, with traces of gold to areas.    indo persian
