North Indian PeshKabz dagger with mother of pearl

A nice quality sturdy and large Indian dagger peshkabz. Good recurved steel blade of good weight and strength with thickened back edge, small chiselled decorative feature near tip. Signs of lamellar pattern to the blade. The hilt of bronze the grip inlaid with decorative panels of mother of pearl and red lac. 15 inches overall, later 19th century.  indo persian
