Massive Heavy Spiked mace from India 19th c

 A most impressive Indian Mace with a proliferation of steel spikes to the head. The shape of this mace is a flattened sphere and unusually heavy and robust, the four-sided steel spikes are scattered closely allover the surface, the head itself is decorated with applied silver. An even larger four sided spike to the top. The shaft is of steel also with further silver decorative bands and two small ball shaped guard features to the hilt. Good uncleaned condition, 19th century. 82 cms long overall
