A very nice quality jade hilted Ottoman kard knife’. The handle made from a speckled green jade carved with a flower design on both sides, the tup surmounted with a gilt precious stone. the bolster of chiselled silver, high quality slightly curved blade of high crystalline wootz steel, the forte applied to both side with thick gold overlay, further decorated with engraved detailing. The sheath of embossed silver with a hanging mount to one side. A really nice piece probably 18th century.
