Indo Persian ‘Tiger Tooth’ Dagger

Description

 A nice North Indian Dagger of Khanjar type typically known as a ‘Tiger Tooth’ dagger by collectors. Very good sharp steel blade, double edged and having a thickened tip for armour piercing, carved lotus floral decoration to a panel at the top of the blade. Shaped steel bolsters, the bone grips shaped at the top with a small iron finial. Complete with its green velvet covered sheath (worn) with gold thread trim and pierced chape to the bottom. A good complete dagger dating to the 19th century.indo persian
