An interesting Indian sword with a thin curved steel blade showing signs of a sham damascus type watering to its surface. The hilt of gilt-copper embossed with flower type designs, with its original linked hand-guard chain. The sword has its original scabbard in European military style mounted with heavy brass, the leather has broken towards the tip and is in two pieces due to careless unsheathing, this can be repaired fairly easily if necessary. 19th century. indo persian
