Indian weapon Fakirs Horns.  A nice example of an Indian unique weapon consisting of two black buck horns arranged to create a defensive weapon made more lethal by adding two broad steel blades to the tips. the handle is formed by the crossover of the horn bases, which also creates hand protection. Brass mounts embellish this simple but very striking weapon, supposedly used by religious mendicants who were forbidden to carry actual weapons. 19th century a nice solid example 90 cms long
