Indian Tulwar with striped blade

An interesting Indian Tulwar sword, the hilt made of bronze and inlaid with metals and havin a ball shaped pommel. The blade of heavy steel, pattern welded damascus with a most unusual striped design on both sides of the blade. The lower part of the blade is chiselled with a crescent mark, possibly the maker, and to one side is engraved a simple eyelash and other markings. A very stout blade with a thick spine.
