Indian Tulwar sword with silver

An Indian tulwar sword. The steel hilt with silver embellishments applied in koftgari style, large disc pommel with bud finial to the top. The blade curving and sharp, and with a small makers or symbolic marking near the forte. There appears to be some patterning visible in the steel suggestive of pattern welding. Good condition age wear overall, 19th century
