Impressive Indian Zulfiqar sword with serrated edge

An impressive and unusual Indian zulfiqar sword. Very strong and light sword, made for fighting with, the large curved steel blade serrated along its edge, and with a very strong flat spine to the back edge. the steel hilt in good condition. There are signs of lamination to the blade suggesting it might possibly be pattern welded construction. The split blade tip giving the name of ‘Zulfiqar’, relating to the historical sword of ali which was supposedly broken in battle. Excellent condition, probably 18th century. 78 cms long overall
