Four 19th century Chinese War arrows

Description

Four large Chinese war arrows. Three with large unsharpened triangular shaped heads designed to punch through armour and maximise damage. The fourth with a larger more rouned shaped blade. The first three with goosefeather fletchings, birchbark binding to the neck, one with an inked inscription in Chinese calligraphy, another with its shaft notched with 3 marks. One warped, the fourth with fletching remaining near the centre of the arrow shaft with lines indicating that over half of the arrow was originally fletched presumably for some special purpose. 19th century, China
