Fine Qajar Persian Helmet Khula Khud and shield Sipar

 Fine  Persian Qajar matching helmet and shield set, all steel with deeply chiselled designs and silver calligraphy to the edges. Both pieces retaining their padded fabric linings. The mail to the helmet with patterned steel and brass links. Gold decoration embellishment to the patterning. Uncleaned untouched condition, the steel could be polished up easily if required but the unlceaned patina is also very pleasing. Previously in a diplomats collection.19th century.
