Description

A most attractive hunting Rifle with percussion cap lock, probably from the Southern Caucasus or Northern Iran. The barrel most beautifully decorated with thick gold decoration including multiple panels with finely executed calligraphy. Mounted with a lifting mechanism with moveable sight level. The full stock mounted with silver and steel, the triggerguard and buttmount of chiselled steel. Fitted with a small circular patch or bullet box with a hinged silver shell-shaped lid.
