Deccan all steel Chillanum dagger circa 1600

 An early South Indian ‘chillanum’ or ‘bichwa’ dagger made all from a single piece of steel. The recurved blade simply decorated with grooves, the hilt sculpturally formed with flared upper and lower guards and baluster decoration to the grip and finial. Circa 1600. indo persian
