Corsican vendetta knife

Corsican vendetta knife. A lovely high quality example with sharp steel blade in excellent condition.  Related to other European stiletto daggers in that these sharp weapons were easily concealed, and very deadly when used correctly. The handle inlaid with silver, tortoiseshell and mother of pearl mosaic, finely engraved silver mounts to the rest of the knife including the sheath. Original sheath covered with leather and silver with a small embossed portrait to the centre. Some losses (one MOP section, and silver trim) and wear overall.
