Chinese Jian sword – a long Qing period straight Jian sword. The blade finely made inlaid with bronze dots representing celestial stars along the blade. The top section chiselled with calligraphy and a dragon. The hilt has a dragon Taotie bronze handguard, a woven cord grip and brass shaped pommel. In its original refurbished scabbard with two original embossed decorated mounts and two hanging rings. Dating to the second half of the nineteenth century
