Chinese double sword Shuangjian 19th century

A nice Antique Chinese sword, with two swords in one scabbard, a double-sword Shuang Jian. Good quality heavy piece, both steel blades of diamond section and inlaid with brass dots. Brass mounts decorated with dragons and calligraphy, the grips of solid polished horn, the scabbard covered with white shagreen fishskin . 67 cms long overall. Qing period 19th century.
