Caucasian Khevsur? or Persian Mail trousers 19th Century

An interesting and rare piece of armour – mail trousers from the Caucasus. These are offered as a resotoration project, the butted mail is reinforced by shaped plates which are damascened with patterns in silver or gold, most of these plates are present, and although there are some extensive holes to the mail, restoration should prove extremely rewarding. 19th century.  indo persian, russian, polish, chainmail, middle east
