Burmese Knife with fine carved ivory hilt

A nice antique shortsword or knife from Burma, ‘Dha’. The steel blade with sharpened edge to the inner face, mount of silver, the hilt finely carved from a single piece of ivory in exquisite detail showing a figure entangled in foliage with a bird to the top. Beautiful deep patination. A small area of carving missing to the rear ( old loss visible in pictures below) 18th/19th century.Burma/ Southern Asia ,
