Antique Indian Quiver. A very rare leather and fabric North Indian Quiver, often described as mughal, but equally used across Northern India including the Sikhs. This item is a rare survival and extremely fragile. The front section is embroidered with metallic threads in flower designs. with some retaining straps, and long wound tassels. There is a fair amount of wear to the piece due to age, and the very bottom is missing, despite this the quiver retains a very impressive impact in terms of this important piece of an archers equipment. Approximately 50 cms long not including the longer tassels. 17th-19th century
