Large Australian Aborigine shield

 A large old Aboriginal shield from Australia, long and thin made from very heavy dense wood. Tapering to each end, the reverse with a cut out handle which seems to have a good old patination from use. On its custom made  steel stand.  97 cms long overall.  19th century
