Ethiopian shield Gashan

 A good attractive Shield from Ethiopia. Steel shield mounted with pierced and stamped brass panels, previous;y gilt. Mounted onto a fabric base which is dark with age and wear. the reverse with wear to the handle. 48 cms diameter. Late 19th century
