Balkan Ottoman musket Boyliya with mother of pearl and mosaic inlay

A good quality Ottoman Boyliya musket from the Western Balkans. The dark wooden stock inlaid with panels of mosaic and studwork, the breech region with mother of pearl shell, carved and inlaid with lac. The heavy steel barrel of damascus twist, chiselled and inlaid with silver. The butt ending with a slab of black horn .
