Caucasian or Russian knife or dagger with gold silver and niellowork

A nice quality Russian or Caucasian small knife. Offered here in unrestored worn condition as seen in the photos. The hilt and sheath of fine silver, pierced with designs to the front and with gold applied, and niello inlaid.The back of the sheath inlaid with niello with a name, and various Russian hallmarks are stamped to the reverse of all parts. There are some small holes and dents to some areas mainly the top of the pommel, and the chape region has had an old repair with a part from another kindjal chape added. The blade is simple kindjal style with surface wear. 19th century
